What to expect for your on-campus visit

Before your on-campus visit
We require all visitors to register before arriving on campus. To register for a campus tour, go to visit.asu.edu. Tours are scheduled on specific days and times, based on the campus you would like to visit. There are also self-guided and virtual options available.
Before coming to ASU, you’ll also want to be aware that most of Arizona does not observe daylight saving time. Depending on where you live, the time difference between your city and Arizona may vary during the year.

Tips for navigating the visit schedule
You have questions, and we have answers. Please take a moment to review these helpful tips before scheduling your visit.
- The fall 2025 visit calendar is now open.
- We do not offer visits on university holidays or when the university is closed. View the holiday schedule.
- Phoenix can be warmer than you may realize, even if you live in Arizona. We encourage you to be prepared for an outdoor walking tour, wear comfortable shoes, as well as bring a water bottle, hat, sunglasses and sunscreen. For more information, check out this page about time and weather in Arizona.
Mill Avenue construction
As you make plans to visit the Tempe campus, please note that work has started on a refreshed Mill Avenue streetscape that focuses on improving accessibility and sustainability. As construction continues, parts of Mill Avenue and University Drive will be closed, some areas will experience power outages, some sidewalks and ramps will be closed, and pavement reconstruction will be underway.

ASU's Polytechnic campus construction
ASU’s Polytechnic campus is undergoing a major construction boom, with the Interdisciplinary Science and Technology Building 12 (ISTB12) scheduled for completion in November 2025. The facility will serve as a new gateway to the Innovation Research District. Visitors should be aware that construction will be visible when visiting the campus. However, this activity does not impact driving routes or parking availability. All visitors should park in Lot 6.
Parking and transit update
All parking meters have been removed from surface parking lots at the Downtown Phoenix, Polytechnic, Tempe and West Valley campuses. Guests who park in a surface lot will now pay for parking using the Park Mobile App or AMP system. You can download the Park Mobile App and enter you vehicle and payment information or look for the QR code on a nearby sign.
