What to expect: Summer Sun Devil Day

Thank you for registering to attend a Summer Sun Devil Day information session and tour. Below you will find information to help guide you to your check-in location, parking and other important information based on the campus you selected. Please refer to your confirmation email for specifics about your visit.

Before coming to ASU, you’ll also want to be aware that most of Arizona does not observe daylight saving time. Depending on where you live, the time difference between your city and Arizona may vary during the year.

ASU time

Programming includes an admission presentation, academic session and campus tour, based on availability. Refer to your confirmation email for your program start time.

7:15–8 a.m. Check-in
8 a.m. Welcome presentation
1 p.m. Formal programming concludes
1–2:30 p.m. Optional college sessions

A full agenda with session options will be provided at check-in.

Please note that although this program takes place on ASU's Tempe campus, you’ll be able to learn about all of ASU's metro Phoenix campuses and degree programs. 
 

Guests are responsible for the cost of parking. Prices vary based on location, ranging from $3 per hour to $16 per day. We recommend using designated ASU parking garages and not surface parking lots or  metered street city parking as those are intended for short-term use.

Please allow at least 15 minutes to park and walk to the check-in location.

There are various parking options near the Memorial Union on ASU's Tempe campus:

• Apache Blvd. structure, 401 E. Lemon St., Tempe
• Rural Rd. structure, 1100 S. Rural Rd., Tempe
• Mill Ave. structure, 951 S. Mill Ave. in Tempe
• Tyler St. structure, E. Tyler St., Tempe

In order to ensure you have a seamless and enjoyable experience on campus, we ask that you check in at least 15 minutes prior to your visit start time. Remember, your parking location may be a short walk from the check in location.

• Check-in time: between 7:15–8 a.m., programming begins at 8 a.m.
• Check-in location: Memorial Union, 301 E. Orange Street, Tempe 
  • You'll see signs and ASU staff members at check-in tables on the west side of the Memorial Union, outside on the Cady Mall.

All parking meters have been removed from surface parking lots at the Downtown Phoenix, Polytechnic, Tempe and West Valley campuses. Guests who park in a surface lot will now pay for parking using the Park Mobile App or AMP system. You can download the Park Mobile App and enter your vehicle and payment information or look for the QR code on a nearby sign.
