Thank you for registering to tour ASU using our self-guided tour option. Below you will find information to help guide you from parking to a good starting point and more. 

We require all visitors to register before arriving on campus. To register for a tour, click below to learn more about all the ways you can visit ASU and the tours available. Tours are available based on the campus you would like to visit, including virtual options.

Note that most of Arizona does not observe daylight saving time. Depending on where you live, the time difference between your city and Arizona may vary during the year.

Parking and transit update

All parking meters have been removed from surface parking lots at the Downtown Phoenix, Polytechnic, Tempe and West Valley campuses. Guests who park in a surface lot must pay for parking using the ParkMobile app or AMP system. You can download the ParkMobile app and enter your vehicle and payment information or scan the QR code on a nearby sign.

Located in Arizona’s capital, ASU’s Downtown Phoenix campus provides a multitude of academic and professional connections for students preparing for careers across the health care spectrum including preventive care, research, policy and advocacy; in law, government and other public service industries; with nonprofit and public social service providers; and in arts and sciences, journalism, media and the corporate sector.

 

Where to park

Guests are responsible for the cost of parking on all ASU campuses. Prices vary based on location, ranging from $3 per hour to $16 per day. Guests who park in a surface lot must pay for parking using the ParkMobile app or AMP system. You can download the ParkMobile app and enter your vehicle and payment information or scan the QR code on a nearby sign.

We recommend using designated ASU parking lots, not metered street parking as that is intended for short-term use.

There are various parking options near the Downtown Phoenix campus. The city of Phoenix also has an interactive map to view current, planned and emergency street closures.

Arriving on campus

You do not need to check in to start your self-guided campus tour. A good place to begin is the Future Sun Devil Welcome Center at the Downtown Phoenix campus, BCLS RM170, 111 E. Taylor St., Phoenix.

Industry partnerships are key to the distinctive course offerings on the campus, which provide opportunities for project-based learning within advanced laboratory spaces. 

Specialized equipment for hands-on exploration includes simulators for flight and centers for consumer behavior research, semiconductor fabrication, comprehensive commercial printing and design services, and on-demand digital manufacturing.
