Students on a group visit tour at ASU

Group visit

Thank you for your interest in scheduling a visit with Arizona State University!

At ASU, we offer many ways for groups to learn about being a Sun Devil and our campuses. This group visit request form is for visits hosted by Admission Services: student experience tours of ASU campuses led by current students. The tours provide a look at what it is like to be a student at ASU. These visits are designed for prospective ASU students and are offered on specific dates throughout the year. If you are not able to find your group category in the list below, please contact visitasu@asu.edu regarding your visit request.

Due to the high temperatures in Phoenix during the months of May - July, for the safety of our staff and guests we only offer guided tours in the mornings.

If you are a K-5th elementary school group, we have partnered with various departments at ASU to provide an opportunity to visit campus. These departments are limited in the number of visits they can offer, so please contact them directly to inquire regarding availability.

The School of Earth and Space Exploration (SESE):

  • SESE’s science and technology content has been structured for either an in-person experience at the ASU Tempe campus or a virtual visit to classrooms offering online, in-class, or hybrid models. It is designed to encourage STEM education/career exploration and provide supplemental K-12 STEM education correlated to education standards. Please email SESE-Outreach@asu.edu for additional information and to check availability.

 ASU Art Museum:

  • The ASU Art Museum offers guided and self-guided tours for the art enthusiasts of all ages! To learn more about our tour options, visit the website: https://asuartmuseum.org/visit/tours/. You can make a reservation through the link in the green box at the bottom of the page. Once you make your reservation, you will receive a submission confirmation email. Shortly after, a staff member will reach out to confirm your reservation. Please note, reservations are not guaranteed.

Please contact our group visit coordinator at visitasu@asu.edu with the following details for your group:

We are excited that your team or camp is interested in touring our campus! Due to high demand and limited tour availability, we encourage your group to facilitate its own self-guided campus tours at a time that best fits your schedule. You can find self-guided tour resources at ASU Virtual Tour, including printable maps of all ASU campuses, a self-guided tour app and a self-guided audio tour.
Please contact our group visit coordinator at visitasu@asu.edu with your group details (group size, school/program, desired event date/time, virtual or in-person, desired campus of visit).

  • We are currently scheduling visits for summer 2024, which includes dates from May 2024 through July 2024. September 2024 and beyond visit registration will open in June 2024.  Group Visit requests are reviewed on Tuesday of each week, and groups will be followed up with later that week. In an effort to accommodate our visit and events schedule group visits are only offered on Tuesdays (summer) or Wednesdays (fall/spring) and are not available during certain times of the year. While completing this form please select your date and time carefully; due to the high volume of visits we facilitate we are unable to reschedule dates and/or times. We also require notice of cancellation at least 72 hours prior to your scheduled visit. We also ask that you make your group reservation at least 2 weeks in advance of your planned visit. We may be unable to accommodate your group visit request with less than 2 weeks’ notice.
  • Note: Filling out this reservation page does not confirm your group visit. An ASU Campus Visit Coordinator will be in contact with you shortly to confirm your group visit.
  • Requests for group tours are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis and may be restricted during peak visitation seasons.
  • Advance planning: Students must be organized into groups with one chaperone for every 10 students prior to arrival. Visitors with special needs can be accommodated by contacting the Campus Visit Coordinator several days in advance. Visiting groups must provide their itinerary and group leader/chaperone contact information to the Campus Visit Coordinator prior to arrival.
  • Timeliness: Arriving on time and sticking to the schedule are important since many tour activities are led by Arizona State University students. Groups that cannot meet the schedule are asked to contact the Campus Visit Coordinator immediately to make alternate arrangements. Self-guided walking tours will be provided for groups arriving more than 15 minutes late. Other activities may be canceled for late arrivals.
  • Supervision while on campus: Groups must provide at least one adult chaperone for every 10 student visitors. Chaperones must stay with the group at all times. If chaperones leave the group at any time, ASU staff will end the visit and return the group to the tour starting location. Chaperones are required to discipline and control their students while on campus. This includes making sure that students refrain from using cell phones and other electronic devices during tours and presentations, and that students pick up any leftover food, paper supplies or other items before leaving. The visiting organization is liable for any damage to Arizona State University property during its visit.

Group Tour Parking: Information on additional parking options is available at: https://cfo.asu.edu/parking. Visitor parking will NOT be validated. Please arrive on campus at least 15 minutes prior to your check-in time to allow time to park your vehicle (if necessary) and walk to the designated Check-In location. Detailed parking information will be sent upon visit confirmation from the specific campus.
